Online Bookbinding workshop

Create 3 single section hand bound books (A5 sized), each featuring different binding techniques. No previous bookbinding experience required - Shobhna will carefully guide you, share her knowledge, key techniques and the technical do’s and dont’s of this artform.

Create: Saddle stitch book - great for beginners, Twisted stitch book, Beaded dotted stitch book. Perfect to use as notebooks/journals!

Sewing needles, all templates, materials & spares will be posted to you after 10 Jan. Colours of materials may vary.

Equipment needed:

Steel ruler, Craft knife, Cutting mat, Awl, Bone folder, Beeswax, Binding clips.

By the end of the workshop you will have constructed 3 handmade books & learned practical skills to continue your bookbinding journey!
